How does it work? How to make calls?
Girawa Cell Phone in Sri Lanka is offered by Tigo as a regular cell phone. It will have a Tigo phone number
o If the party in Sri Lanka already has a Tigo phone, Tigo will simply activate the service on it
o If the party in Sri Lanka does not have a Tigo phone, Tigo will deliver a SIM card for them
How to Call from overseas to Girawa Cell phone
o First dial any of the Girawa access numbers
o Then dial 0# ( speed dial 0 is preset for your Tigo Phone)

Girawa customers in USA, Canada & Australia can order Girawa Cell for their friends & family in Sri Lanka

How can I order? How is it activated?
Simply Sign up at our website
o If you are an existing customer, you can simply switch your existing account to Girawa Cell plan
o If you are a new customer, simply sign up and we will create an account for Girawa Cell plan
You nominate the overseas phone number that you will use to call Girawa Cell in Sri Lanka
You also nominate the party in Sri Lanka to receive Girawa Cell phone. And they will then receive a regular Tigo Cell phone connection (SIM) with a Tigo number
Account/connection will be activated within 2 working days

o If the Girawa Home Phone has got a local regular local telephone number (e.g. USA, Canada, UK or Australia local telephone number), simply dial that number
